Shiv, Could you be kind enough to explain what over boost is and what it will do in terms of performance?

+400

But i'm assuming it will be similar to the 997T. You get a "rush" of boost of about 5 seconds.

I would like a boost gauge that shows the overboost in an angry red zone

Currently it's for a shorter time and dynamicly implemented into the interceptor program. It's shut off currently. E. g. I would prefer a physical switch for overboost.

I'm sure Shiv will explain and he did make a post about what it is (I'm too lazy to search for it), but without getting technical, its a condition where if certain parameters (like air temp, ambient temp, etc) are met, boost will be increased 1 psi for up to 0.5 secs.

Just search for porsche 997 and overboost. You will find good information. Sorry for being too lazy ...

We definitely need an overboost function. I suggest an overboost of +3psi for not less than 10 secs and up to 6k RPMS

better yet why not just put the boost up there for good and then add overboost on that...however, you may need new turbos, fuel injectors, dp's and exhaust...but hey it can be done!
