Audio upgrades and warranty

What is the warranty consequence of installing aftermarket audio hardware? Say I toss in a new amp, tweeters and mid drivers and the car is in for a faulty window actuator (which happened on my 2 year old X5 a few years ago). Will it nullify the 4/50k deal?

It's not a black-and-white thing. Legally they must show causation. Some service departments are more militant about it than others. I had every warranty issue handled by my dealer without complaint, including a worn door seal.

If it's cleanly done, you are much more likely to be fine than if it looks hacked in.
