A quick google shows
That code means 'P2620 Throttle position , output signal - open circuit' so the issue is with your throttle actuator. P1251 Start Of Cold Start Injector Short To Positive shown here http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=303141/ not sure if correct *

After a further bit googling I found this http://www.bmwland.co.uk/forums/view...p?f=5&t=122040 now I know it e60 but it's the same engine. Then after a further bit of googling found this http://www.meeknet.co.uk/E38/BMW_E-OBD_Codes.pdf |

Was this a general code reader as I think with the lead I got is specific BMW code reader and my list of codes does not show the indicated ones above.
Do you travel anywhere Birmingham way becuase I can use my lead to scan for codes? A google search on this codes tend to indicate following - I tend to do a general search and although it may not specifically relate to e9x I have found same codes on other models helped me identify the problem With the p2620 code I think it may be due to the egr valve - maybe gunked up (what year is you car and milege?) http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...-p2621-t90802/ The above link links to realoem with number 16 in relation to the code, which indicates the throttle on the egr http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...17&hg=11&fg=40 I am not to sure of the other 2 codes, sorry |

would explain the lack of power, sorry the codes are not more specific Dave, depending on budget I would give it to the guy at camberley you would get best diagnosis and save on the guess work. Fact that reseting them bring it back means its something more than a blip in the ecu
hope you get it sorted
