Not necessarily. It only gets updated if there is 'enhancement' due to recall or you complaint about something and they fix it.

Mind you that I looked at two different F10 before I purchased one. One was 2010 used by one private owner and it was update in 2014.

And I bought 2011 which had more options and despite for full BMW service history and more toys, it was never updated. So, I had to do it!

Just wondering if this function can be coded:

On my E93, if you double click the unlock button on the remote, the window will go down halfway so that you can get into the car more easily.

Is it possible to code the car so that when you exit the car, the window goes down so that you can get out more easily if you park too close to another car?

Took a drive down to Essex today to meet Makkan00 (Sam) for him to install my bluetooth to my CCC i drive and code in a few things.

What a genuine nice guy, very helpful, answered all my questions. instantly put me at ease. Left my car with him and in a little over 2 hours, Voila, done!

Very professional install, and had removed a parrot kit wiring that a previous owner had installed.

So now I have bluetooth, wipers go home, digital speed on dash cluster, alarm chime on locking/unlocking and welcome fogs on unlock.
