I tried touchless car wash and i found water leaking thru my side windows! I mentioned that to a BMW service rep. and he said it's because E92 has frameless side window, which means it cannot withstand high water pressure??? Did he BS me???

no, he's right. Just don't hold the pressure handle while pointing the water at those areas and you should be fine.

ahhaha whats this special rate? did it involve going behind the counter?

list is now updated to reflect GTA North, East, South and West. Sorry if they arent too accurate but I havent taken Geography since High School

$25, $18? this doesn't sound like a self serve wash anymore LOLL more like a quick handjob or blowjob.

No... but I stayed there for at least 2 hours, using a lot of water rinsing the car and using the compressed air thing to get the water out of the cracks and cravices (no puns intended)

Car Wash Central, 800 Brock Street North, it's a self-serve car wash with individual bays. Not sure how much they charge.

East-end stuff...

I think they charge $3-$4 a cycle and their cycles are short! I use the one on Dundas and Cochrane instead (Whitby), $2 a cycle, 8 bays too I believe.

For touchless/trackless, I use the Shell either on Rossland and Harwood or the one on Taunton and Thickson, I find this one does a slightly better job than the one on Ross/Harwood.

Midland just north of Lawrence. Not sure what its called but I know the owner recently spent ALOT of $$$ upgrading the facility.... plus its heated

Similar to the coin-op car wash on VP and Ellesmere: $3 to start and $1 for each additional 2 mins usually cost me about $8-10 to get a good wash with time left to spare for the tri-foam tooo

They actually reduce the time if you ask them, even if you didn't have to wait.
And after you pay you can pretty much do anything there if it's not packed.

That said, my fav car wash is at 7/11 on Bathurst south of Wilson for summer time.

Unfortunately, the brushes scratch the paint (never scratched the RX8, IS250 and the C300). Great paint BMW .
So I usually take it to Yonge n Finch Xerox building. $15 gets you a good wash, and the parking is free.

If you have Petro Can (the old Sunoco) stations there with the Eco wash then it's great for winter. The basic wash with one rinse doesn't do that well but the top tier wash (brilliant or something like that) does a pretty darn good job at take off the salt and cleaning the car. My car was white from accumulation of road salt for a week or two and came out pretty clean.

just found a shell that is trackless and touchless. it is on warden just south of the 401. its decent. long underbody spray and a long dry cycle. its one of those that you have to drive thru yourself (no track).

Thanks for the info, didn't realize there was one there.

A couple other touchless/trackless I use are:

Esso - Leslie/Lawerence (not very good water pressure though)
Esso - Leslie north of York Mills
Shell - Kennedy and Passmore (south of Steeles)

I would avoid the Shell at 407 and Kennedy - there is hardly any water pressure and the guy refused to take any time off while I waited in line to pay!!
