Ipod "disappearing"

Not sure if anyone has had this problem before. Last week I went to switch to listen to my Ipod and it wasn't one of the choices available. I tried making sure it was plugged in properly (it was) but the only options were tuner, satellite, USB and Aux. Tried restarting but no luck. next morning it was back. Have experienced this a couple of times in the past 12 months.

Anyone had anything similar?

Thx.

I experience the same the thing every day. Even when listening to the ipod, it disappears, then it returns and picks up the music right where it left off.

I've been noticing the same issue lately, using my iPhone with iOS 5.1.1

Haven't tried my iPod classic, I'll see if it does the same and report back. Anyone else have this issue?

Cheers!

Kinda off topic.. but does your ipod continue the song from where it left off (when the car is turned off) or does it start from the begining of the song each time?

WHen i shut off my car.. it resets the song. Problem is for me that I have sets that are 2 hours long. SO a reset of the song is a pain in the butt.

I have had my ipod lost 1 time so far. I just had the adaptor installed a month ago.

Mine will pick up were the song left off. Even with it losing connection, it will sit there showing no interface, then it will just start playing again right where it left off from. Which adapter do you have?
