Well some guys are plotting to steal your car mate. What they will do is go to the dealers and show a few dodgy but legit looking papers and walk away with the same keys you've currently left in your living room. You'll hear them burning that denzil at night, you'll end up running after them half naked with slippers on shouting SHAMOAN mafuggaz gimme back ma fackin Denzil!

Serious though this is messed up!

Probably enforced by PH policies.

Something fishy with the identical stories - sounds more like someone with a vendetta against a certain garage (with a hint of "urban legend" about it) than a repeat "near identical" crime.

I am not saying it doesnt happen (we all know cars go missing, lots of cars, every day) just that this person might have been watching a bit too many re-runs of Gone in 60 Seconds.

Very likely. The other poster only has 1 post which is a bit of a bait.

Why would they do it with E46 M3 and not go for an E90 or 92 instead if its 'as easy' as they say?

Agree with the other posters, this is an old story and abit of an yrban legend. the reality is you have to produce original documents including your driving licence to match the V5. My car had the id label inside the drivers door dmaged on delivery and i had to produce all these docs just so the delaer could get a new one ordered from Germany.
