No it's a file. You go and get a backup file made off your current ECU and send to them. They modify it and send back the tuned ECU file. Then you flash your ECU with the new file.

Honestly it's just way easier to get the tune and the Simon tool for flashing and backing up than going to shops and having them do it for you. I got the tool and it was easy as pie.

Dyno'd at 220 whp (~280 hp)

Nice numbers. Where in the rpm range do you notice the most gains?

Hmmm sounds interesting. Wouldn't the tool and the flash come out to roughly the same as AA? I'm on my mobile. is there a link to the thread with their specs?

Where did you find this tune for your car? I checked their website and could not find a tune listed under 328?!

depends on what you have

stock 328i/330i- not much difference

328i with 3 stage manifold - not enough data but my guess is yes

Cannot comment on 325i

Don't remeber exact price because I got it all done last summer. I believe it was a little over $700 for tune and My Genius tool. Prices might have changed.

For stock 328i the both gain about the same. I think AA may have more in the middle but that is because no one has dyno'd Eruocharged recently.

I think what will help you decide is if and where you can find a dealer for each and any promotions. Eurocharged has a promo on their website, and AA offers 20%-15% discounts time to time

If you have 3 stage intake manifold:
Both tunes smooth out the dips, but the difference is perhaps in the low to mid.
AA knows some secret sause as seen on Desi4life10 dyno and maybe some elses.
Eurocharged is no longer a sonsor here, so you can ask them on your own time

I see on ec website tune only for 325/330. Nothing for 328 hp,torque.
Ec dealer is 2 miles from me in Passaic For a now i have injen intake and whole new stainless magnaflow exhaust. Next step is 3stahe intake manifold and for a flash i want to use Ec or AA.

Their website is wrong, they told me so lol.
Email them, talk to them in person or go find them on another forum

The AA flash can be applied before the manifold, i would ask Eurocharged if they do the same
