FS: Sirius satelite radio receiver
-SOLD- For sale: Siruis receiver that was pulled from my 2007 E90 328i. P/N 65129142850 (interchangable with current BMW P/N 65129192274) It works perfectly, and is currently activated with a 3 month trial of Sirius Everything that ends in December. This module can be installed in E90/E91/E92/E93 as well as E60, 61, 63, 64, 65, 66, 70 and possibly others. Best bet is to check with the dealer if you're not sure if it will work in your car though. If your car came thru with satelite radio preparation, the install is blindingly easy. All you need is the receiver and the mounting bracket (the one I'm selling is receiver only, but you can get the install kit from Tischer for about $50). To physically mount it, you simply remove the trunk floor (it just lifts out), install the receiver with two bolts and wire it up. This post says it all: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1915 If your car doesn't have the satelite radio preparation, the physical install is the same, there's just a few more steps you need to take: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10536 Asking $225 shipped (Will cost you over $400 new!) Hello. I just bought a 335i with the sat prep, but no receiver. I'm getting quotes of $600-900 to install and program it, and had a question or two. I called the dealer to make sure the part number you list will work on my car, and the parts guy got very protective of their monopoly, and gave me a line about liability and everything, then told me the unit has to be programmed for the car, and once programmed it can't be reprogrammed for another car. I know most of the time the parts guys don't know what the service guys know or do, but I just wanted to make sure I can use a previously programmed part (if that's even true) for my car. I know the car has to be programmed, but does the receiver? If it will work, is it still for sale? Thanks.

I have this same unit for sale myself (Part no. 65129142850).
As the description says above, this is one is the same part as 65129192274, meaning this is the latest module for the pre-lci's. Yes, it picks up BEST OF XM. Asking $300 shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Last edited by ergoyo; 08-12-2011 at 01:45 PM.. |
