Here in Europe, some 530d with similar tranny than our 335d, has "sport" button that make work faster the transmission. Maybe it goes by there...

According to realoem, my 06/2010 build date 2011 335d has a 6HP26Z in it.

Edit: Every 335d built in any year has that transmission, so who knows.

Thanks, Monk. I stand corrected, although I could've sworn that in 2009 there was a switch from the 26 to the 28, but I've also heard that the 26z is the upgraded 26 that eventually was deemed the 28. I was just under there a week ago, but didn't snap a photo of the plate while I was down there...will have to do this next time for everybody.

I dunno about you guys but I'd be willing to drop some $$ on an aggressive trans tune for our D's. If we can't get anywhere with the current coding I wonder if there are any tuners that could do this for us? Anyone else interested in paying for it if we have to?

Tried my ass of this weekend. Pissed off the ECU about 5 different times. At one point during a flash I heard a pump in the back start going and then the wipers began moving..it was kind of freaky.

Was testing a mix of the e60 daten & flash. I'm pretty damn sure the flash itself is ok, but after the flash it is being given the wrong data to use.

stevers is there anything any of us can do to help out with progress? I usually have a pretty good grasp on computer tuning/coding and could do my best to catch up on the Alpina trans tunes if there was anything involved that I could help out with

Hooper, I appreciate the offer. My next step is going to be disassembling the EGS daten and rebuilding it similar to the E60 EGS. If that doesn't do the trick, then i'm probably going to call this one a bust.

Just to let you guys know I emailed Evolve about developing a trans tune for our cars and they were useless, they said they are not interested....If anyone has any other tuners in mind let me know and I will ask.

Likely not, it still isn't working for the rest of the 3 series.

I had one last idea to try, but my car has been at the dealer for the past week. I'll try once more before i dump this car on someone else.
