I called Cobb today. They have no clue on when they may get it figured out. Time to drop less $$$ on a JB4 Stage 2 and BMS intake and quit wasting time.

Look at my set up below... I am very happy (except that I bought an Xdrive). When Cobb comes out you can always buy it and now you are set due to DP, CP and intake. All you all need to add is FMIC which is my next mod.

Just get the Jb4. Later on if you do get Cobb you can always use the Jb4 for boost and meth control.

interesting... I was curious about this too... I currently have the JB4 and the Meth FSB... If I plan on going with a COBB solution, I am unsure of how one would remove the JB4 but keep the FSB for my BMS WW meth because it is wired directly into the JB4 wiring harness. How would this work?

So you have a piggy back and a flash running at the same time?

you can't to my knowledge. that's where I am confused - If someone like me went to a cobb solution, I would obviously remove my JB4, but I would also lose my meth FSB wire bundle... a commenter above mentioned you could keep the FSB with the cobb... and it doesn't make sense to me.

Many N54 highly modified cars run the JB4 on top of flash tunes, the JB4 would be used for boost control, meth, and in dash goodies, while the flash is used to set the fueling and advance tables, disable the speed limiter, raise the rev limit, etc. It's mainly something used for large turbo cars. I don't see much benefit on the N55 but it's there as an option.
