Finally... My M135i

Hi guys, sorry its taken a while to post some photos of my M135i. Been so busy with work.

I am loving the M-lite tho, puts a smile on my face every time i put my foot down, all my friends couldn't believe how quick it was and they all fell in love with the noise.

Didnt really run it in, been past 7K on every occasion

See below, few quick pics and a couple of videos. :spotman:

Love the noises!!

Still can't get on with the front of the new 1 but the rest looks good. All that performance and noises I guess could make me accept the looks

Noticed a local dealer here in NI have a very well specced pre reg one advertised now for 34k with automatic and adaptive suspension etc. they also have a used one for about 28k, with a bit of negotiation either of those seem a great buy.

Nice car fella - certainly sounds good - personally I'm not a huge fan of the new face lift and i dont think the wheels look big enough - maybe on coilovers it might sit better for me but again thats all personal - interesting to see it do an 8 min lap of the Ring and with it spitting with rain, although i wonder what tyres and set up was over and above stock? Either way its a lovely car and im sure it will be awesome once its been "Marlie fettled!!"

The front of the 1 is growing on me. I suppose the performance and engine noise would definitely make up for it.

Lovely toy you have there. I'm sure these can be very quick with a few tweaks!

I so WANT to like this car. The drivetrain and engine package are superb, it really is one of the most exciting hot hatches to come out in a long time but why oh why did they put a face on it not even a mother could love. Goddamn you BMW, what were you thinking?

Nice pointing on the garage wall. Better than some houses I've looked at.

Me for a start. And as stated before, I am a designer and therefor have a far better understanding of what looks good

Marlie, are you glad you didn't sell your order then?

Guvernator is probably one of those "I know what's I like and I like what's I know" types.

Back in my day they knew how to design a car properly.....

Looks fab in white!
The front styling of the F20 is definitely growing on me now..reminds me a little of the E65 7 series.

Damn right to be honest. There are very few good looking hothatches made nowadays IMO. I'm not a design expert like mowflow but they seem to be obsessed with overdesigning things. I'm sure moflow could come up with a very flowery reason why they've put drooppy headlights on the 1'er, still doesn't stop it from looking like a Basset Hound, all IMO of course

As I said, shame because the rest of the package is brilliant. For those who aren't put off by the looks (and I sure ain't the only one) I'm sure it's a great car.

Yes I'm happy I still went with this, though one day I will have some pork in my life.
