Brian is a great SA with an M3 who can be seen at car events local and in LA.....Jeef knows his stuff and does great work.....

I go to Dealer for oil changes, coffee, car wash and parts.....After that or everything else is done with Jeef......He gets the job done.....will ask some questions to make sure you he is doing exactly what you want......

They're not that slow, compared to the new M series they're lacking power but not slow compared to their class level. You have an e93 though, convertibles are heavier and slower than normal e92 and e90 m3's. You could do some mods like catless x pipe and tune for some gains though

No catless nor x pipe for me. too loud and it won't pass smog.
Anyways, I just feel its seem so slow for an M3.
Maybe its E93.

Its the NA V8...torque is almost none existent on the low range. Try getting it to the higher rev range and you'll enjoy it a bit more.

328i to m3 should feel like a jump haha but if you were going for speed only with cars in the "M" class, should've gone with the c63. I don't like c63's that much just because I think the m3 is more well rounded but c63 is ridiculously fast with mods. You could always put a supercharger on your m3

Yup. With all BMW M engines, the torque isn't overwhelming. The M engines are really race engines that you need to keep in the upper revs to enjoy. Essentially you really need to redline the shit out of your car to enjoy the power.

This is why there is the great 335i vs M3 debate.

A convertible M3 won't feel very fast because it is heaver and has a low torque engine.

I'm going to be selling my car soon and I may want to go back to stock.

Aftermarket parts I have currently installed:

AA downpipes (N54) - $600 new
AA intercooler (Race) - $1,000 new

Both went on the car in summer of 2013 when the car had 50k miles.

The car now has 72k miles so the parts have about 22k on them.

I'm thinking of $300 for the downpipes and $500 for the intercooler. Anyone interested?

Had a chat with a guy on a dual sport who complimented me on my E91 at the light of Balboa and Kearny Villa Rd. I forgot to ask you if you were on here, would love to see your pre-LCI 6 Speed E91!
