Scratch that! I meant my LHS dipped. AND - it has to be in the RHS position for the LHS mirror to dip. And their's no middle position. haha All over it!

Stunning 320i BTW - Love the colour!

Could need to be coded. Little things like that can be turned on/off when programming.

Best colour BTW...love the Le Mans blue!

Got my BMR angel lights today.. Took my original lights out but cannot seem to put the new ones in? I placed them in, turned the lights and only the inner one lit up, probably because I didn't insert it correctly, I just can't seem to twist it in properly. Any tips or am I doing something wrong..

I suck sht at these things.

Have fun, we do these regularly here and we still scratch and cut our hands lol

Try get some long nose pliers in there, just dont squeeze em too hard or you will crack the holder.

I've got the BMRs too - they will fit but replacing those things are a bit tricky and wounds are likely. But they are well worth it!

Make sure you use a permanant pen and mark the centre of the new lamp base. That will help line it up to the cut-out on the headlight housing.

Yes, I got the drivers in.. But the passenger.. My hands are cut it hurts to put it inside

Also the outer ring is really unnoticeable from a side view/daylight. But when I crouch down it looks better. Did I not insert it in properly?

Trying the nose pliers now.. Holy sht lol.

Just ordered my BMR AE's.....oh the joy I have to look forward to

Don't suppose anyone took pics of their install? Will check out search and I know there is a 'how to' for E90's on the Lux website I think.

Finally done it...

Got a apprentice at BMW to do it.. LOL. I took the originals out after many hours.. Left hand adapter cable thingy was short so thought it was caught in something. Anyway I'm happy with the result.. Took the airbox out for the passenger side as it's a PAIN to even get a few fingers in.

sbce90 linked me this : http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415710

Which was some sort of help to me.

Thanks

Bit of a nooby question, has anyone upgraded their older style idrive system to this?

?

Also a small update, bmr angel lights/my old custom plates.

Have a look in the navigation/coding forum for the nav upgrade. Have you got the CIC business nav at the moment?

Are those plates on something else at the moment? I have a vague recollection of seeing them of late, but not on the E90.
