I'm currently in the process of trying to sell my 350z, with the intention of buying an e92 335i soon after.

I was originally set on a e46 M3, but I'm leaning towards the newer style, with slightly less power but better mpg.

Just placed a deposit on a black 2008 320i M Sport saloon with cream leather.

My first BMW although possibly not the best engine to choose looking at a few threads on here?

Love everything else about the car so take a chance, i change every 2 years and its got a 12 month parts/labor warranty so take a chance lol

At the end of the day its pot luck, take your chance. Every car has its owns problems and they are always highly talked about on forums. Although, im sure there are far more people out there who haven't had issues with the engine

So i decided to finally join today after weeks of reading... already addicted

I currently drive (well pay for, the wife drives!) a 2006 Honda civic 2.2 cdti.

Its a great car but not in the same class as a BMW, had japanese for years, its time for a change!

Looking to go GERMAN in the next 12 months, waiting on some career changes.

Interested to learn about the car and more....
