Bought my Garmin 360 in December and checked the site for new maps. There were none yet! However, there were enhancements updates to the softwares.

If you haven't bought it yet, make sure it has a QWERTY layout. I cannot believe my unit has a sequential alphabet layout. Hate it.
I hear Tom Tom is a great buy. Just as good, if not better, functionally at a lower price. |

Mine has alphabetic order too, didn't know the QWERTY layout exists out there. But it's okay for me, as addresses are not long to enter.

I thought Garmin updates are free on line.
They even have a utility application for updating the unit while plugged into your PC.

I have "garmin city navigator north america NT 2008" that I used for my Nokia N82. Don't know if it will actually work on the gps units. Its a 1.1gb file, pm me if anyone wants to try it out.
