Line output converter.

Now when using the technic harness how many channel LOC do I have to use for everything to work. This whole logic 7 system is a pain in the butt.

I guess it would help to understand what you are trying to do.

I don't recommend using a passive LOC for anything but subwoofer adds.

So, what are you trying to do?

Alright, thank you for clearing things up. I trust you over someone who doesn't know anything about BMWs. So what would be a good LOC? I was looking at the audio control lci2.

What LOC have you all used the this harness? I need a LOC with two output plugs seeing how I am putting in two amps, just wanted a idea on what LOCs people have used on BMWs L7 system.

Thanks,
Kasey

Well I have done many aftermarket install in regular cars, but as for BMWs this is my first. I was just wanting to get a idea on what LOCs people have use with the harness and the l7 system. I thought this was a Fourm to help people.... Maybe I am in the wrong place.

I think I am in the same boat as you. I have done many car stereo system installs in the past just not on a car with such a complicated OEM system. For you guys that have the Logic 7 system and have added an aftermarket amp/sub, what brand/model of LOC have you used to feed signal to your sub amp?

The technic harness includes a loc. If you want to spend some money on one take a look at the lc2i however I doubt you'll hear much difference from a passive loc.

If you only want to add a trunk sub, and/or power the underseat subs with an aftermarket amp, the lc2i is perfect
If you want to amplify more channels, then you need the 6 channel lc6i or 8 channel lc8i
