The newest design will go in. They use it on the N54 in the 1M and 335is. It's the most successful HPFP but after 120k you are on your own

Mine died this evening.
Threw codes P142E and P3090.
Any gas and it would die. On a flat bed to the dealer, 55K miles.
I've owned the car 9 weeks.......
It'c CPO for the next 25 months. I hope the engine falls out while it's on their dime....

yes, the newer pumps still fail. Yes, after 120K, it will come out of your pocket.

Ok all fixed up. Got the new 442 pump. SA told me although there is the 120k warranty any new pump is covered for 2 years unlimited miles. Anyone else heard that?

never heard of this. but it makes sense, installing flawed pumps until the car hits 120k miles doesnt make any sense

I asked today. He said about $1300 for everything. Ugh. Indy could probably do it for less than $1000 I guess. Hopefully I never have to find out

Any time you get a part replaced it comes with a warranty. Typically parts warranty is 1 year. Obviously this part is longer.
