Rim and Tire sizes for XI
Found the info for previous question new question.
I have 19x8 square but now im going to get 19x9 fronts and 19x10 rear but what tires size should i get? i am going to lower my xi in the near future, im thinking 235/40/19 front and 275/45/19 rear. i see that its all about rolling diameter with the tires but how do i measure it exactly? any opinions will be helpful Last edited by SyL3nTFoRcE; 05-03-2012 at 12:34 PM.. |

235/35/19 & 275/30/19
Go to Tirerack and look at the specs of the tires. They post revs per mile for each tire size.

my stock rim size is 205/55/16 revs per mile 838 ovarall diam. 24.8 or 225/45/17 revs per mile 832 overall diam 25, but my car came with 335i sport rims when i bought it used, i dont have sport seats or steering wheel so my take is its the 16"
now i looked up the tires 235/35/19 are revs per mile 816 and overall diam.25.5 275/40/19 revs permile 751 and overall diam is 27.7 something tells me these wont be good for my car? |

Use a tire calculator, free app on iPhones. Keep rolling diameter under 1. Good to go.
Easy peasy.

http://www.1010tires.com/ gives you OEM tire specs and you can compare it to what you're planning on getting. It'll give you the percentage increase/decrease of your current tires compared to what you plan on getting. Arguably, you'll want overall diameter to be within 1-3% of the OEM size especially with the AWD.

What size wheels and offset do you have for the front? I'm planning to run 19x9.5 concave with 245/35/19 on all four corners.

You didn't have to put spacers in the front for the 245? Are your fenders rolled in the rear?
