Are these real or fake?
Are these wheels real? They are claimed to be "genuine BMW factory OEM wheel" and "BMW alloy wheel" but I have some doubts.
http://www.allfactorywheels.com/prod...ear-71391.html 1) They don't have the "BMW Performance" logo and I thought all 19's come with the logos. 2) There seems to be a "M" logo sticker....but it looks weird. I thought they didn't come with the M logo? 3) Is there maybe a non-performance 313 style wheel? (hence the no logo and the M sticker) |

It looks like an OEM wheel that was damaged and then repaired/reconditioned by that company.
If you want NEW ones, look here: http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...16&startrow=51 |

FCobra94,
Thank you for replying. Would you know by any chance the risks I will take by buying refinished wheels? The new ones you suggested are $135 more per wheel, I could use that for tires if there are no to low risks in buying reconditioned wheels. |

BMW Performance decal came if you bought the wheels as a separate option.
The ones that came factory on the 335is model didn't have it. These are refinished wheels so theres no real way to tell if they were from a 335is or if they were Performance accessories. They most certainly have a fresh coat of paint/powder on them. I don't think they'll be able to tell you what extent of damage the wheel had before they repaired it. It could have been just curbage/paint repair, or it could have been bent or even cracked. Their business is to repair the damage and sell as refurbished. For the 313 wheels I'd go with new and genuine. 5 spoke designs are inherently easier to bend/crack and they arn't really offering that large of a discount relative to some of the other wheels they sell. |

Not sure what a BMW Performance logo looks like. Sorry. My wheels have an "M" badge/logo. See pic. And, the car is a 335is with the 19" tire and wheel option from the factory.

I would contact them directly.Their website keeps stating "OEM" wheels, genuine BMW wheels and what not. Also if you do decide to go forward with the purchase, make sure you use paypal or some other sort of payment method that has buyer protection. So that way if in the end they do indeed end up being something other than what was stated, you can hopefully get your money back and send them right back.
Hope this helps. Best, Jay G. |

Unless they have the "BMW" stamp on the back on the spokes, they are OEM replicas.
Many companies make OEM-quality wheels... but they are usually NOT from the same supplier/manuf. that made the wheels that come on the cars from the factory. I used to have a nissan and bent a wheel hitted a piece of lumber on the highway... a true OE nissan wheel was like $500 from the factory... I got an OEM-replica for like $120 The above link is more than likely an OEM-replica.
