last week friday(june 05 2008) i made a payment for one of the e90post member Ryan(E92)
because he and I agreed that he sold his rims to me 3000$ shipped to point roberts. Then after we agree i promise him i will paid him right away, but somehow my CC got some problem so i couldn't send the payment. I kept on updating him my status of my CC , and finally 3 days went by my CC is reopen...i made my payment to him right away! 3000 USD paypaled! at friday (june 05 2008) he said he is going to ship the rims on monday. At sat (june 06 2008) i asked him if he can ship to vancouver, so he's reply is if the price is not too different he will do it....then no more reply after....before i paypal him i already gave my point roberts and vancovuer zip code to him before and ask him to get a quote 1st....
then i told him that if it's way over i will paid for the diff .....he never did reply me....
anyways....till monday i hvnt got any tracking # or any update from him saying if he will ship to vancouver or point roberts....so i was kinda worried which address he is going to ship
so i called him.....1st time, no one pick up(2:30pm) 2rd time no one pick up (4:15pm) 3rd times no one pick up (5:30pm) called 4th times( 7:30) no one pick up.....then i left pm and voice msg saying i paid him thru friday i think i gave euff time for him to actually package the rims....and he promised me he will be shipping the rims once it's monday
then i was wondering why is he not responding my pm and my calls....anyways
untill that i got a sms by him saying he is extremely busy this week he will be shipping the rims latest wed
so i msg him back saying please ship the rims latest wed coz i need the rim since my stock is sold and i need the wheel to roll...and ask him which address he is going to send.....and i told him is fine for me to ship the rims by wed
then today.....i sms him again asking him does he meant this wed or next weeks wed...coz i need the rims asap!
then he reply me saying i kept he didnt give his # for me for harness him ....but he never get it touch with him....and 3000$ for me is fucking huge money since i am paying this guy and i am a student!
then he said he refund my money!
i went home right away....then in the paypal refund he said the shipping is too crazy and outrange!!!
i was like wtf!!!! i gave u time to check the shipping cost u accept the deal!!!
i paid 3150 CAD= 3000 US at that time....then now he refund me
but there is a 3% paypal charge!!!....i lost 250 CAD for no fuxking reason and mistake that he costs....fuxk...what can i do??

I'd make an appeal to the seller for some help on that fee you had to choke down. Lesson learned tho, never send money until all the terms are final. It's easy enough to get shipping costs these days. Weight, size and from/to are usually all thats required for a carrier to quote you.

I'm sorry, but isn't 3% of $3k = $90?

If he refunded you, there should be no paypal charge as long as he sent it back to the same paypal addy you use.

I guess he lost on the exchange rate from CAD to USD then again USD back to CAD when he received the fund back. Thats should add up 250 CAD

coz in total i sent him 3000$ USD
but using paypal they charge me around 3150-316x = 3000 USD the exchange rate is 1 CAD= 0.95 USD
then when he sent back to me 3000USD add up 3% paypal charge...88.xx-89
it adds up to almost 250....
then he just sent me back the payment without talking to me....or maybe we can solve the problems.....but he just left me a sms telling me leave him alone...LOL....wtf...

Sorry to hear about your situation. Hope things work out. It's stuff like this that makes me hesitant to buy big ticket items like that, and shipping and duties are always a b*tch to ship it up to Canada.
