Well I have to admit that isn't all mine. I was able to get some guys on another board a group buy, so that's all their stuff. On that note, I buy all my stuff in bulk when the season begins (end of March), and buy a case of the wheel sealant every year (so 12 tubs). I really like it a lot. On cars without much brake dust it probably isn't worth the money, but on German cars (BMW, Audi, Mercedes) and some Japanese (Infiniti for example) it's well worth the $20. You get about 30 applications (at 3 months an application) and while it doesn't repel all the dust it does repel some. More importantly it makes the wheels way easier to clean. I apply it to almost all my customer cars for selfish reasons actually Since I am the guy that cleans their wheels it makes my life a lot easier, especially when you're talking mesh or 10+ spoke wheels!

Many people use their paint sealant on wheels too, which is a fine idea but I found it doesn't last quite as long as the wheel sealant, maybe because it has a higher melting temperature.

Cheers.

$55 at Advanced Discount Auto Parts
$109 at Zaino
$20 at WheelWax
$89 at GriotsGarge
$39 at California Car Cleaners --- and the duster I got left streaks all over my car --- WTF!!!!!!??!??!?!
$25 at AutoVisuals
$24 at Detailers Paradise
$58 at Microfiber Tech
= $464 spent on cleaning supplies

And this is all within the past 120 hours. Somebody help me!!!! Hahaha.
Don't go here, www.autogeek.net, unless you plan on spending a ton more money. I have dropped small fortune at Autogeek.

They should go public so we could make some money back from them in the stock market!

As much as you need water, IMHO. Why don't you start a new thread so we don't hijack this thread too much further than it already is...

My largest expense was not trusting the Zaino post here.

I should have started with Zanio products.

I now have a box full of cleaners, waxes, etc. that I'll probably never use. Close to $150 in value.

Oh well, live and learn, Zaino products only from here on out.

That'll keep me to about 70 - 80 bucks a year from here on out

Yikes, looks like my garage. And I can't use the "I'm a detailer" excuse! Put me down for more than $300.

How do you like it? I'm debating if I should buy one or just pay someone to buff the car every 6 months or so...?

Pink Wax is awesome; better durabilty than Nattys too (and it's cheap!). Nattys does have a pretty distinctive look a lot of my customers like though, so I like to have both around.

Griots get a piece of my income on a regular basis. I have th whole program, Porta Cable randum orbit waxer polisher the works. But I'm a long time car care nut. I have a Z3 as well as a new E90 330i and a Toyota Tundra that I treat the sam as my BMWs. I know I'm sick but it keeps me out of the bars.

Just received another order of mine from Detailers Paradise. The Monster Fluffy is the most incredible MicroFiber cloth I've ever seen, felt or used in my life. It's unbelievably soft!

The bad news is, I'm now up to $600 in detailing and cleaning supplies and I can't use the "I'm a professional detailer" response. The good news is, I think I'm finally starting to slow down on my detailing supply purchases.

Isn't that monster fluffy awesome? I've got a couple here and I love them. They even hold up well after washes.

OK, I've just about hit $900 in cleaning supplies (and I can't use the "I'm a detailer" response). The good news is, I've got everything possible to cover, covered! You name it, I've got it! Just bought myself a water purification filter that removes the minerals from the water and leaves my car with a spot-free finish.

So hopefully this is it for me in terms of detailing equipment.
