Just sole my 335i- Fantastic car missing it already

So after a short but very enjoyable 14 months of ownership I today sold my 335i to a member off here.

Was one of the best cars I have ever owned but fancy a change, going to be in the market hopefully for a c63 next summer if I don't $hit it from the potential fuel bills.

Over all I was very satisfied with my 335i experience, it was exactly what I expected it to be and more and would most certainly buy another n54/n55 based car again in the future if situation allows.

To anyone looking into buying a 335i, even if it's just for a short period like me, do it! You will not regret it. I am missing the sound already!

edit to say sorry meant to type sold in the title can't change it now.

Good to hear you enjoyed the experience. Excellent cars imo, interesting you are thinking of a C63, I'd like a M3 next. I'm also playing with the idea of selling up and waiting until next year (spring) so good to hear you got a sale.

What are you left driving in the meantime?

I'd imagine a C63 will be far more costly to run that a 335i on top of the fuel bills.

How easy (or not) was it to sell?
In the far distance I hear this voice saying "M3 M3 M3 come and get me, I'm a V8 and I will never exist in the future, buy now Mike......"

Mike.

I have a mk6 golf 1.6 tdi to tide me over until next summer, which to be honest is $hit and almost painful to drive but it will have to do whilst I save up for a v8 lol.

I really really want my next car to be a V8 (or a V12) for that exact reason stated above, it will all end eventually!

You can pick up DB9's for reasonable money these days, might be the most 'sensible' way into a V12? My friend has one, 4mpg he says on his once a week run, now that's what i'm talking about! lol

I didn't find it hard to sell had it on for 2 weeks, dropped the price after a week of no interest to be more in line with book value for a good condition private sale and it sold within a few days, I guess you just have to be realistic with what you ask.

Hi guys, I'm the new owner of Dr G13's car!
I have just spent the last two days giving it a bit of pampering, and I have to say it has come up a treat!
I found the exhaust tips to be a PITA to clean, I ended up using a soap filled Brillo pad in the end, and some Autosol. They are still not 100% but a lot better than they were!
