You're not going to get into 'THE Party' with anything else! Will & Ed will be scrutinising & maintaining the dress code, for what that's worth.

Call it experience, instinct, intuition, the fact that I burst into uncontrollable laughter when I see such posts- they all go to tell me I don't need to even bother checking up on paulpronto's IP address.

You're a bunch of cynical bastards.
It's entirely plausible, even likely, that someone who has never posted on this forum in his life is so impressed with the service they received from Big Motoring World that they scour the internet for any perceived slight at the company so as they may address it with their genuine experience. It's entirely in keeping with such action that they then tone their post down a little, mentioning the bad points too, to lend their missive an element of credibility it might otherwise lack. You people, really.

The IP address doesn't match any of those previously used by previous known Big Motoring World posters. However, it does appear to come from the same ISP which they've used on numerous occasions previously.

I think I can answer why a 6 series owner posts on a 3 series forum. Having browsed the internet on Big Motoring World, he found this thread and despite having concerns, he went there as they had the car he wanted.
Having had a reasonable experience, he decided to let us cynics know about it. Simples! Well, bugger me, I just looked out the window and that's the second flying pig I've seen today! |

Boys & girls,
The view count on this thread has now hit over 73,000 views. If you can all help to show just how well Big Motoring World are doing here by taking it over the 75k mark, it'll put a big smile on my face & it'll hopefully cement plans for 'THE Party'. Well done everyone, especially 'Bigsy' & everyone else at Big Motoring World for continuing to resurrect this thread from the depths of the forum & for helping to show everyone the sort of company you are. Big Motoring World too big to "drive up and down the road"
OMG! I have just seen your thread about BMW X3 Series at Big Motoring World Kent and could not stop myself!!! Hilarious!
Anyway to the point I went there today and was told that I cant have test drive before "doing the figures", after "doing" it they vallued my car and gave me rubish amount of money with which I disagreed initially, then asked if I can have test drive to decide. Was told]" I cant be bothered to drive up and down the road while I have lots more customers outside and you dont agree with valuation price"!!!! Mind you, car was worth over £25k so I believe I had the right to at least see if it drives properly PLUS I wanted to buy from them, bunch of abusive idiots!!! I do hope that they can read it and take some responsibility for their staff and at least train them in BASIC customer service skills. Believe me it can turn business around! |

'Bigsy', just a quick post to let you know that I'm just setting off for a couple of weeks of unadulterated pleasure in the Caribbean, but I'm still thinking about you.
Although you probably are thinking 'what a cheeky fooker', this meets parts 3 & 4 of my new year resolutions, as I also plan to investigate venues for 'THE Party', possibly in Barbados or Jamaica. Tony is doing an excellent job of organising the catering. Talking of dedication, he's almost certainly taste-testing a range of dishes as we speak. He asked me to let you know that he's happy to arrange a table for you at his new restaurant, should you wish to visit & discuss culinary arrangements with him. Hope you & the boys & girls at Big Motoring World are keeping well, 'Bigsy'. Best wishes. Viv |
