quick detailing spray, although I don't suggest using it if the car has dirt on it, i usually use it for small spots.

+1. Don't use it while your car's surface is hot either....such as right after driving it. The directions on my Poorboys told me this...lesson learned.

Drive carefully. IE: avoid water at all costs, dont tailgate, etc. We wash our cars on a weekly basis, so if a car makes it past Wednesday clean, im happy

I commute to LA and because the air is always crappy my car is filled with dust when i get home. I usually use one of those big mop looking things and wipe down my car when im not feeling lazy. Oh and i usually hand wax my car when i do wash it it helps with the wiping.

I use Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer and it's nothing short of amazing. Best I've ever used and I've tried everything.

Optimum Car Wax spray bottle is awesome. I keep it in my trunk with a microfiber.

I do agree with the Meguiars Quick Detailer. Easy to use and at reasonable price for a bottle. Just make sure the paint surface is clean, i.e. no dust particles.

I own one of those too, but I think they're quite useless. The dusters themselves don't necessarily "suck" up the dirt as advertised so I only use 'em sparingly.

CA dusters are not a good idea. Most people use them the wrong way. You are supposed to only use the tips of the duster and let the electromagnetic "suction" pull off dust. Very very light contact should be made. Not like the way most people wipe their cars with them.

That being said, I do not recommend them. Maybe on a lighter colored car.

I use a cordless, rechargeable leaf blower to blow all the loose dust and grit off the surface, then I lightly go over the car with a california duster, making sure to shake it often to remove trapped dust and dirt, then use Meguiars spray detail to remove fingerprints and smudges from around the door area. It always looks like it's just been washed, and using this method I only have to actually wash my car every other week.

The California "dash duster" works really well for interior upkeep IMO. But I'd be hesitant to use one of the "car dusters" on my paint.

I wash each week, so I don't bother QD-ing in the meantime unless I get hit with bird crap or something.
