lowering springs the right way...

Has anyone here done something like this for an e92 335i:

I'm currently running tc klines thinking I was going to track but I highly doubt it so I wouldn't mind returning to a zsp if I could keep the lowered look of my coilovers. However, if I lower it, I want to do it like the way this guy has done it on his M3. Basically retaining the suspension travel (much as possible) etc.
