Hi guys. I ordered up some new shocks/springs and now I'm trying to find a good shop to install them. I've called a few places with prices all over the place. Anyone have good experiences with Pann? They've got some pretty crappy Yelp reviews but a decent price....

Forget Pann - I just called Euro Auto Spot which I've seen recommended a few times and their pricing is the same. They'll get my biz. Thanks anyways...

That was just dropping them off bare to them, or did that included pulling the tires and remounting?

The 380 only includes the blasting and powdercoating. The color i used is a one coat color which is 95 a wheel. If you choose a 2 coat color it will be 150 a wheel. Still not bad considering the body shop used a wheel refinisher on my front wheel and could not get a paint match after 4 tries (1200$ later).

They do work with hawthorne tire a few buildings away. I took my wheels (off the car) to them and they dismounted the tires, stored them and took the rims to the powdercoat company. Once powdercoated (1 week) they took them back to hawthorne who remounted and balanced all 4.

The remount and balancing cost 120$ for all 4. Not bad.

Highly recommend both places. The owner at hawthorne was a good guy and even asked if i wanted black wheel weights instead of silver after one wheel had silver weights on them. They have good reviews on yelp as well.

Thanks for the extra info, this is good to know. I've been considering getting it done.

Time for some updated pics. Recently got the car back, had wheels powdercoated and trim wrapped by garageworks.

Car is being put up for sale. If you know anyone interested, please pm me for more info.

Where is a good place to get a car wash? I would like to do a drive thru, quick wash but could not find one.

I'm near Aero and I-15

If you want to drive to Carlsbad http://www.lloydsdetailing.com/auto-detailing/ is good. Don't do a drive thru

My car is so dirty from the drive down and there's no water access in my complex. I have no time to sit around and watch someone else wash my car.

Buy a bottle of Optimum No-Rinse and wash yourself. Drivethru washes are the worst for your car.

Honestly, Lloyd's is a factory. It's a step up from a car wash but far from the personalized service you get from an individual professional detailer. Lloyds used the wrong buffer on my friend's black, Audi wagon, and literally removed the clear coat on an entire section of the vehicle. They have too many poorly trained/inexperienced employees that are just banging out cars for a paycheck.

Luckily you have TiAg. As long as it's kept waxed/coated, you can probably run it through an unattended gas station wash without seeing too much paint damage. I loved that about my TiAg E90. Not so lucky now with black
