The MDPhotography Workhorse - E91 M Sport

I'm currently a student studying Photography at University, and a semi-professional photographer aiming to make it a full time profession when I finish. Check www.matthewdear.co.uk for my stuff.

Anyway, my previous car, a Fast Road Fiesta ZS, was no longer cutting it, wasn't suited to the miles, pretty bad fuel consumption, and it wasn't big enough. The other problem was that I've started using it for track days, and if something goes wrong on the day (driveshafts have gone currently) then I can't get to work! So a daily was needed.

Which is where the E91 comes in, I was originally looking at E46's, but I was looking top end of market and they still weren't the condition I was wanting! Really abused, so I decided to jump up to the E91, and found this little beauty.

Spec:
BMW 3 Series E91 320D M Sport Touring
Full service history, mainly BMW
2 litre Turbo Diesel engine - 163bhp/340Nm/47mpg
Titanium Silver
18" MV3 Staggered - Runflat tyres
Black Leather
Heated seats
Shadowline trim
Privacy Tints
Rear sunshades
Bluetooth/Aux

Plan is mainly upkeep, few small mods maybe, it's done 163k so has some worn trim here and there and I'd like to replace some of the bushes etc. Also fit non-runflats and a emergency repair kit when they're dead.

Photos!

Boot space, ready to be filled with photography equipment!

This is where the spare wheel should be... Still, secret compartment for equipment etc.

The bay, pretty tidy.

So that's it, not perfect as you'd expect from the miles, front needs a respray ideally, and a load of other small parts doing, but for the money, it was amazing, and it's mechanically sound, other than a thermostat stuck open which the dealership will be doing.

Photos are also only quick snaps, at some point I'll do a proper shoot of it!
