Its not the worst offer I have had!! I've had a genuine offer of £22,750 which is still not quite enough.

Can't believe how much of a car this is for the money and can't believe someone would let it get away for the cost of a set of tyres!! Probably end up keeping it at this rate..... Could be be worse!!

Sarcasm noted. Good luck with your sale pal - for your information, I wasn't making a smart arse statement, I was commenting on the fact that most buyers will want a few % off on a used car.

I had a remapped 335i coupe before this and although that had epic torque, the M3 with the DCT is simply in a different league trust me. The handling is sublime and with the EDC can be adjusted from comfort (better ride than the 335i) to sport if you ever wanted to annihilate a few people in 911's on a track!! And that v8 what a noise!!

However do be prepared for high running costs with road tax, insurance, tyres etc etc

If I didn't need the cash for moving to a bigger house I would not sell it!! Me and my mate joint own an e36 M3 which we use on track and he keeps trying to convince me to keep this and eventually turn it into our next track car!!

It's a real shame that stonking cars like this just don't seem to be in demand these days with all the road tax, fuel & insurance price hikes. I'm suffering the same with the Zed, just cannot give it away (slight exaggeration), but I'd have to let it go for about £2-3k under what it's actually worth. Hence keeping it. No hardship though really.

Hope you find a buyer soon or just manage to find the cash to keep it running with the new house.

Haha.... I agree the high cost of everything nowadays is just compounded in a car like this.

Shame as you say as I could of saved a fortune if I'd left it a year!!

If I wasn't moving house myself (later today) ... and had sold our current house, I'd have been very interested changing from my 335d, I love he fact it has warranty, my 335d is warrantied too and it gives a great peace of mind. I'm surprised it hasn't swung it for you. When the weather heats up, so long as petrol prices don't keep rising it'll definitely be in greater demand. Love the spec!

^^ BMW UK seem to be dumping M3's on the market like they are going out of fashion. I guess that is the problem with RHD, if you make too many, there isn't a lot of places you can sell them. With V-Power near £1.50, £100 for ~260 miles doesn't look great either

Or wait for production to end, now is the absolute worst time to sell a car, when it is at the end of its life and the manufacturer is throwing money at new ones.

There was one outside the dealer to day with £10,999 dealer deposit contribution and 0% finance sign written all over it. That makes selling yours very tricky.
In a few weeks they will all be gone and things will be back to normal.

I know what you mean but to me those deals still don't look that great, if you do the math (which I can't see anyone who gets one actually does!!).

You still have to put down £6k ish deposit yourself then it's £499 a month (which is before you've spent a penny on servicing, tax, petrol etc). You are limited to 10,000 miles a year (15p per mile after that!!)

At the end you left with a 30,000 mile poverty spec DCT and a final payment of circa £23k which you may get at a push by selling it (total cost in the finance alone is around £24k and then you have nothing at the end of it)

You buy mine with £6k of your hard earned, get a 3 year loan for the rest over 3 years (approx £500 per month). At the end instead of nothing you have 7 and half year old M3 with around 90,000 miles that you own. Should still be worth at least £10-£11k looking at E46 prices.... To conclude you are full £11k better off ?? (Even if you take off approx £2.5k to keep it in warranty for two years after mine runs out that still is a much more compelling deal)

That's how I would see it as well. OK if a company buys it but not a personal purchase.

That is £12400 over 2 years.
Brand new car, no warranty issues.

Seriously, those deals are ending at the end of March but all stock will probably be gone within a week apparently, they have moved loads of them, you will have a much better chance with yours when they end.

Why didn't you take the £22750?

The 6x23 deal @ £426 is a lease deal where you hand back the keys and probably get stung extra for every little stone chip and parking dent. A pretty expensive way to own a car if you ask me as your basically paying the depreciation for them.

The other deal you quoted with 0% finance and £10k dealer contribution is a finance deal with a big final payment so not exactly like for like and costs £499 a month as mentioned in my original post...

Don't confuse a frozen SILVER edition with the standard frozen edition.... The silver is one of the best ones that comes with extended leather, competition wheels, EDC, DCT etc. The regular frozen edition comes with only a few nice touches such as blacklines, performance grills, extended leather and carbon trim.
