Cyba tips legit question
Is it possible without too mcuh hassle to fit Cyba quad tips on an aftermarket dual exhaust such as CP-E, HKS, Autobahn Exotics, Turner Motorsport, Vanguard etc?
The inlet diameter of the Cyba quad tips would probably be smaller than the diameter of the piping right before the tips on the aftermarket exhaust. This means that you'd have to go from a 3 inch (this is just an example) piping on the aftermarket exhaust to a 2.25 inch inlet (this is the actual diameter on the Cyba tips). The reason for doing this would be to achieve the quad look on an exhaust that normally doesn't come with quads, and since the aftermarket exhaust would be a dual, it's line up perfectly with the OE rear bumper, making easy use of the Hamann style diffusor together with Cyba quad tips. If someone has actually done this, I hope you can supply under-carriage pictures :-) Any comments and thoughts are welcomed! Thanks! |

You would need a stretcher to increase the ID/OD of the Cyba tips. As for AE, only the tips are 3"....the pipe before it is 2.5"
