Weird ... I only thaught the 335i had an oil temp meter?
The 335d I took for a spin didn't have it ...

Anyways nice car!

Very smart motor Z4. The grey and blue works very nicely. You've done about the same miles as me! Just about to go and put a few more on now.

Washed mine for the first time yesterday, but it got filthy again within minutes on these horrible winter roads.

I gave mine a quick wash this morning but as you say the roads are terrible and no doubt when I go out later on it will get dirty just as quick. I think with the brakes being new, a lot of dirt and dust seems to hit the alloys quite easily, although I'm sure you agree the alloys are quick and easy to clean

Snap a few more pics of yours when your back out in it - the red leather gives a really warm look to the interior and goes great with the alu trim

Yes, unfortunately the 335d has the stupid mpg-o-meter, and no temperature gauge or any way to tell when the engine has warmed up, apart from waiting for hot air to come out of the heater vents.

At first I thought the temperature gauge wasn't actually working... it seems to take ages for the engine to get up to normal operating temperature.
