Sticky brakes... Not what you think...

So I think I have a "sticky brake" problem, but from what I've gathered it's not the typical problem. I believe the typical problem that many members on here are familiar with involves the "start off assist".
What I'm experiencing is when I step on my brake pedal, it seems as though the brake pistons are stuck until a significant amount of pressure is built up in the brake lines. When there is adequate pressure built up in the lines, the pistons come undone and bite downon the rotor, but fairly loud making a somewhat unsettling noise.
Has anyone experienced this? If so are there any fixes? Upgrade to stainless steel brake lines?

Thanks

Flush the brake fluid and inspect the calipers. I will not be surprised if you have a sticking front caliper piston.

Interesting. Is that something the dealer will cover under warranty? I'll be making an appointment to have them install my performance exhaust and PPK. I can just add this to the list.

Y'know, they should. This is very unusual - noise? Might be more to this - please post details.

I flushed my brakes after disconnecting the rears to lower the subframe. Nothing to it really - no problems before or after.

Weird!

I'm all fr a good weekend DIY, but if it's something they should cover, or a known problem, let them take care of the bill. I will update in the upcoming weeks.
