I'm only liking the 1er for it's explosive little package and looks to me that are satisfactory. Although technically I could afford a 335 now I'll wait a little while to get one that I really want (late model, low k's etc) If someone were to offer a straight swap between their 135i and my 325i though, that would be tempting! |

So you got the sizzling hot brunette while I scored her pudgy sister? DAMN it's alright though since I spend most of my time inside her anyway

Thanks for your amazing insight. Your mum's CLK is much less feminine.

I don't feel the need to compensate for anything so the 1er's compact size doesn't bother me.
135i is hardly entry level, price wise only a few cheaper, performance wise very few that are faster. |

not really about compensation, more about leg room etc.
i sit fairly comfortably in the 3er, though even with the seat lowered as far as possible if i sit bolt upright my head touches the ceiling. that doesnt really leave much room for a full size person to fit behind me, i imagine in the 1er it would be even worse. i could imagine 4 girls fitting in quite easily though, much like a mini. |

But then again it might depend, he may be a mature age student, you remember those ones who sat up the front and would ask heaps of stupid questions making the lectures run over time! STFU!!!
bmroxm5 is that the same ride you got now? I didnt realise bartending paid so much! Now i understand why they put up with my drunken behavior all the time |

hahah this thread is classic.
it's the only one on the Australian forum with a bit of banter. Are we talking M3's vs 335i's vs 135i's..... or are we talking spoilt kids with Bimmers and spelling mistakes? are they actually spoilt, or are we just jealous that our parents gave us a shitbox for our first car and not a shiny new bimmer?
