There are dynos out there that can calculate drivetrain loss from the spindown, though I always found it to be a bit of a useless figure as what gets to the wheels is what is really important.

Exactly and most graphs I see/read are all whp, that why this one threw me off.

"So after I was the only 130i was a driver on the dyno today, I thought I'd share the result time with the rest of you, is for one or the other certainly interesting. Bin as far very happy with the result, considering that my 130s has now down 103,000 km and the 3 liter suction engine just like to spread downwards. irritate Only does me the power and torque kink at about 1500 rev / min, what can that be? Here the measurement:"

So basically their gas thats eqiv. to our 93 is 98 octane. Thats what their tunes are tuned for. That is the big difference. Plus thet stress the Performance intake, very interesting.

Ps- talk in english over there, they can understand it haha

Interesting, a Dynojet hmm
I dont think 258 refers to WHP, it may be an estimate based off WHP data

I know, I saw that too. There is no doubt they work, just how effective they are...

Appreciate you looking at the updates though.

No prob, this is a good thread to notice patterns.
I've seen some of these, but never saved to PC, on the Baby BMW forums, 1er .de and in the z4's case the german Z forum.

Have you skimmed the bimmerforums.co.uk or the e90 .de forums? I recall that the e90 .de forum was slim on n52 discussion, infact 1er-forum.de was better for n52

I wonder if this is the SI or non-SI Z4? I'm getting AA to tune my wife's Z4 soon. Wondering if it's safe to expect these kind of gains.

Those if I recall are the euro SI's being tuned. or Euro 3.0i's with the disa manifold from factory, just software crippled.

For you. If your Z4 is a USA 3.0i than a manifold swap & tune will result in what the US 325i's get from the manifold & tune.
3.0sI will get what tuned 330i's get, another 10-15 whp & Tq increases

Euro cars are abit diff, the 3.0i's with factory disa may be able to match the tuned euro 3.0si's

1er-forum.de will be better, because the series 1 was never equiped with the N53 engine, but we have lots of N52s over there in the e90-forum.de, unfortunately noone got near the 300 mark.
And if you need any help in terms of translation just contact me

Many thanks to everyone, especially TheAxiom, for this thread.

It's great to see measurements of performance gains so we can make informed decisions.

Thanks again!
