exhaust help with x-pipe or H-pipe

theres only about 3 - 4 threads about midpipes on this forum. and i want some answer quick from some expert

i am hoping that my eisenmann sports exhaust(section 3) will come in tomorrow and i can get it in stall at the shop.

1) coming from the DP for the e90, does the resonator or the 2nd cat comes first?
2) if i want custom mid-pipes, H-pipes is louder and deeper than X-pipes?
3) do people usually cut the 2nd cat out or the resonator out?

i feel SOOO confused on this... i don't even know what kind of questions to ask so i guess i will keep asking as it goes.

2. H will be louder, X will be deeper...choose wisely
3. usually the cats, but some both

Have an exhaust shop make an X-pipe center for you to go w/ the Eisenman

no secondary cats might sound too raspy. Hit up Mr.5...his sounds really nice. Pretty sure he has high flow catted DPs, 2nd cats in tact and an x pipe where the resonators used to be

yeah... a friend told me to keep the 2nd cat and everything. just clamp on the exhaust and do catless DP later on. i just dunno if its gonna be too quiet for me.

I have an x-pipe but it is not raspy. It is deep, so during low RPMs, I get vibration due to the resonance.

can someone post up a e90 stock exhaust and point out to be if i want an x-pipe where should i put it, cutting the 2nd cat etc.

Between section 1 (front pipes) and section 3 (exhaust cans)...

personaly i like the x-pipe cuz of the deeper tone..its still loud but i think hpipe is more raspy....just my opinion..
