You can argue forever about oil, but my personal recommendation based of research is that royal purple isn't a good solution for daily driver applications.

It's not even considered that great of an oil by most oil junkies.

I use RP in my car engine, tranny and diff, it seems to run very good and smooth.

Many race cars use RP, so it should be more then good for our cars.

I remember watching the guys pour Royal Purple into these cars!

Read on the net many people have good experience with RP!

If you speak to oil experts they will tell you to leave royal purple for the track and not to put it into your daily.

Visit bobistheoilguy forums to read about it, they don't care much for royal purple over there.

If people use an oil that can protect engine that is worth more them my car, I think it is excellent to use to protect our cars engine.

I don't know BOB the oil gay, I know people that race cars here, and seen and used Royal Purple.

It cost a little more, but i believe it is worth it. They also have different oil for track and street use. Also in every test no oil has the same film strength as RP.

You must be a comedian?

Your comments clearly show you don't have a clue about oil except for person A and B use it in their racecars so I will use it too. Realize that they drain the oil after each session on the track.

The reality is any oil is "ok" if you have generous drain intervals, but is Royal Purple something above and beyond ... the answer is no... it barely makes the cut for class IV synthetics even, many consider it a III.5.

There are many better alternatives to RP.

And to those who own 335i's certain issues are more of a concern due to the higher operating temps. Film strength barely means shit, look at the blackstone analysis results for various oils and you'll see what really makes a diff.

Actually I know for a fact, that guys running RP @ track with 335 run lower oil temp then guys running Castrol.

I am not here to argue. Just my opinion .

What do you reccomend? Since you are the Dr. of oils

My 2 cents.

Over at my other forums a lot of the long time hardcore american muscle fanatics seem like to like RP for the track, but highly recommend not to use it for daily as they have had bad sludge buildup issues.

A couple people on this forum mentioned the same as well.
