It's the cost to make them and cost to make the necessary changes. Even getting the radiator drawn up for a blue print costs a lot of money.

Very easy you just need to discharge the pressure in the AC unit and disconect the fittings

Hey mate,

thank you for your order.

I am sure you and Autobahn335i will be very impressed, by both the build quality of the PWR rad' and more importantly the reduction in coolant temps you will see when tracking the car.

FYI guys,

I can deliver two radiators to the US safely in the one large box provided by PWR.

If two members were to place a joint order such as Alpina_B3_Lux & Autobahn335i thereby splitting the shipping costs, you guys in the US need only pay around $130 Aus each, via DHL Express International shipping.

Lastly here is a link to our PWR radiator product thread on the SPONSORS Classifieds/Groupbuys/Specials Area.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=628537

Cheers,

JD.

Hey Kenneth,

hopefully a fellow Canadian will support your interest in the PWR rad', so I can have the pleasure of shipping a couple of units, to the land of the "Maple Leaf".

Hey Gents,

let it be known I'm a big fan of cutting and pasting posts, in-between product threads.

However in lieu of the sheer quantity of new information, it's best that you guys review the contents of the link below.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=628537&page=3

To summarise,

PWR have given both myself and enrita a bum steer, with regards the suitability of their upgraded ALL aluminium rad' in an AT vehicle.

However I will be sorting this out "most ricky tick", to ensure the rad' we are supplying is a true "direct fit" unit for you AT guys too.

Cheers,

JD.

Hi guys,

FYI.

Here is a cheeky copy & paste from the SPONSORS Classifieds/Groupbuys/Specials Area.

:-)

Hey enrita,

I was just talking to Peter about that very topic yesterday.

If time permits we will be removing the rad' from Peter's AT 335i on Friday.

We still have my old MT rad' on hand, so this will allow us to compare the physical dimensions of both the MT and AT units very closely.

If the external dimensions of both radiators are one and the same, I suspect there will be no need for a new "drawing".

Following some very careful measurements, we can call PWR and advise them of the exact location, size etc. of the two spigots that will be required.

As such we are hoping the 5970 unit can be used as a baseline and revised accordingly.

Did you manage to cancel your order with your Swedish supplier?

Out of curiosity if we get this sorted and successfully test fit a revised AT rad to Peter's 335i, will you purchase the new unit via ADVAN?

Hey enrita,

unfortunately we did not have time to pull the rad' out of our AT 335i on Friday, as among other things we were removing the Stett oil cooler from my 135i and fitting up our Stage 1 oil cooler kit.

However now that Peter's beloved new toy is minus the entire rear subframe as he is doing a M3 conversion, I should be able to quietly remove the rad' when he is not looking.

I have told Pete we need to get craking on the appopriate fix for the PWR rad', as I have an AT 335i customer in Luxembourg, that is ready to buy at the end of the month.

Hey enrita, that's cool.

I believe I will have this sorted by the end of the month.

After further investigation I now know the exact differences between the OE MT rad' out of my 135i and the AT rad' that is in our 335i.

Once PWR have completed the revision of the 5970 unit, we will test fit a sample to our AT 335i shop car to ensure we have a solution for all you AT owners.

Cheers,

JD.
