removing e92 window trim

Has anyone removed the e92 window trim to have it painted?
Couldn't find a diy on the by searching.

Will the trim be bent / damaged when removing?

Most forums member use overlays and just cover the trims. To remove the trims just pull on the trims from front to back, they are held on by metal clips. There's no bondo or any sort. The trim will not bend.
