BBC's "Sherlock"

Just thought I would let everyone know BBC has a relatively new show called "Sherlock". It's the exact synopsis as the books and movies, but set today in London. So basically the old Sherlock, with cell phones and cars. Still has the original theme and music, but new actors and better plots.

Each episode is an hour and a half long, so essentially a movie every episode.

I can honestly say the first episode was better the both American movies as far as plot, BBC does a great job with the writing and the filming is nice too.

That's a great show, I watched it over the Christmas break, Season 2 should be coming soon.

Since you liked Sherlock you should also try Luther, Season 1 is on Netflix.

I watched season 1, episode 1 last night on Netlfix streaming.

It was pretty good and I enjoyed it.

I agree, BBC did a really good job, the dialogue and screenplay were great.

I've seen this show since it came out. It's absolutely fantastic. I recommend it to anyone who likes a good Mystery.

My favorite episode so far is Season 2, Ep 1. Think it's named, "The Woman".

thread revival... watched the first episode last night and loved it. I agree that it's better than both American movies.

Lucy Liu is playing the role of Watson in the American adaptation of Sherlock.. " Elementary"
This will take place in NYC. and Sherlock will be played by Eli Stone.

I watch both Seasons of BBC's Sherlock and certainly think the US version will be absolutely horrible.
