Missouri Repair shops for T.Stat & Water Pump?

335i overheated with an SES light on.

Anyway, it was towed to BMW in Saint Louis and their quote was a bit more than expected. A whopping $1700.

Does anyone around here recommend indie shops, significantly cheaper than that?

How about Bimmers r us ? I've only been in to buy an oil filter but they seem like good guys.

just replaced mine on a ramp, cost total of 450 including parts lol. I was never able to find a shop that is trustworthy and reasonable priced.
