Great looking car! I still haven't warmed up to the new grille design and the silver color hides the characteristic alu-optic mirrors but the panda leather looks amazing and all of the interior updates are awesome in the B8.5. Good to see that they cut out a few buttons around the MMI knob. Mine has 15 buttons where my iDrive had 7 but it looks like Audi cut it down to 11 in the update. Still too many but a step in the right direction.

I'll take a picture of the MMI for a better view of the buttons.

Off the top of my head I think there are...10 buttons.

S4 looks amazing. As much as I love my 1, I've already been contemplating taking on an Audi for next in line. I don't know what it is, but my eyes are always drawn to them on the road, and the S4 is just an incredible machine overall.

There's a picture in this thread. Eight around the knob, 3 below it.

It's a beast.
Have you test driven one yet?

Have not driven a new model, unfortunately. I test drove an '08 a while back and fell in love, but couldn't muster up and go for it at the time. Granted it was AT, I still enjoyed every second of it, but I long to test drive a 6MT.

I haven't test drove the S-Tronic DC AT.

I just fell in love with the 6MT and wanted it that day. With the gearbox being so smooth and the car having so much torque, it's a blast to drive.

My 1er was definitely faster but the S4 is a much more composed ride. I also put the AWE exhaust on mine and it sounds like an absolutely BEAST!

The AWE exhaust sounds awesome. I love the deep growl!

S-Tronic is nice and smooth, but like any form of AT, it always leaves more to be desired (if you come from an MT platform). I have to admit though, it was very responsive and shifted very well compared some others. It was pleasantly surprising really.

I have both a 135i and a B8 A4 (modified, daily) I love having both and could not complain. Enjoy the S4!!

This was massively improved when they ditched the V8. Mine does not feel at all front heavy and it's much flatter in the curves than my 135i ever was.

If you get the basic model of any vehicle, it will lack the edge of a higher, more sporty model. The A4 loaners I always get feel like cheap toys compared to the S4.

I test drove one a few months back with the V6. Still felt it. Nice car tho.

Every RS5 that will hit Stateside will be fully loaded. So you're looking at 80K+ unless you custom order.

My buddy is on his second RS5 and they were both built to his own spec (the same spec). His first was lost in Hurricane Sandy. Watched the water go up his door and just before it reached the windows, the lights started flashing and all of the windows rolled down and the trunk popped open. Probably a safety feature.

The 5 is too big for the 4Banger IMO.

I couldn't imagine myself going a step lower from the 535i.

Only Volkswagon/Audi I would even consider is an R8. All others are family sedans IMO. I have seen them all. Thats why I went with a TL. Cheaper family sedan.
