Stopped for speeding

Got pulled for speeding today. Cops said they had legal rights to take a picture of me. Is that true?

As I understand it, taking a picture of someone in a public place is entirely legal - including taking one of the cop, - though they seem to resent it somewhat.

If they asked you to remove your clothes first that probably wasn't wasn't police
