Does the 3 year Tire and Rim Warranty cover....

I just ordered a 335xi from BMW Laval.
At the same time I purchased the 3 yr Tire and Rim warranty at a cost of approx $750.00

Would this warranty also cover the Winter Tire and Rim package I purchased from BMW or just the orginal rims and tires that comes with the 335xi?

thx

When I purchased my E92 from Town + Country in Markham, I also purchased BMW Accessory Star Spoke 199 wheels..

These wheels came with RFT Bridgestone Potenza RE050As...

But with my warrenty, they covered my tire when I had a puncture in the back.. They also informed me they would cover the 18"s + the tires that came with the car as well as the wheels I purchased from them..

I don't know how it would work in Laval, but I was pretty happy with this coverage..

Your best bet is to check with your advisor..

Yes it does carry over to the winters you also bought from BMW. I know this because I met with my business manager a couple days ago to go over all the protection packages and she was really pushing that...

its dealer unique...best check with your own dealership where you purchased it from to avoid hassles down the road...i know autohaus in toronto only covers the set that came with the car, and on top of that, they only cover 4 tire changes. example. if you get a puncture on the front driver wheel, they will fix/change. next puncture on the same wheel, they will fix/change. you only have 2 repairs left. its not a bottomless warranty so to speak.

Ultimately you should check directly with the company that backs the warranty. My dealer said winter tires are not covered and i called the warranty company and they told me any tire or wheel on my car is covered - they didn't care. My warranty states that it does not cover factory seconds or tires larger than 20" so it's within reason. They asked me to submit the repair invoice to them and then they sent me a cheque in the mail.

Yes...I guess it is dealer specific and the depends on the insurance company they are dealing with.
I will definitely check the fine print.

sweet, i was curious about that too. I have already removed my stock run flats and installed winter tires and want to take the runflats and install them on aftermarket rims
