Agreed, once you get use to the power this car has the potential to make, it's hard to go back. I can't believe how sedated they come from the factory.

I think everyone should go back to stock at least once a year to pay respect to their tune. Really makes you appreciate what you have at the end of the day. Especially after you kick the shit out of a few STI's and EVO's on your way home from work.

The best part about going back to stock is when you get the power back it's like a brand new car again.

I've gone back to stock for about 2 months now, was trying to see if I could replicate my occasional cold start rough idle without the tune. Damn car never throws a code though and still does it, although maybe less frequently. But I dont feel comfortable leaving it tuned (Cobb stage1+) with this possible issue going on.

I couldn't believe how slow it was after removing the tune.
I was so used to the Cobb power that I thought something was wrong and that it felt slow WITH the tune. I think I needed the new perspective.

i feel your pain i went from FBO back to stock and parted out, luckily kept the JB4 and decided to keep the car and now miss my mods like crazy. getting back into the game should have some DPs on next week and already installed the JB4 back in. car feels neutered but gotta say stock acceleration is silky smooth

I had been driving stock for a while because of my turbos, and other issues with my charge pipe. The one thing I love about the stock tune with my car being a 6MT is the super smooth shifts between gears, no bog or timing loss between gears, just pure buttery smooth throttle onset. But I would trade that ANY day for another 200whp

I too noticed right away how much smoother the stock tune was on my 6mt vs with the tune. I wasn't sure if this was due to an issue with my car, but it sounds like this is normal and the slight hesitations I was experiencing between shifts while tuned were "normal".

I used to to think my accord had decent torque for 4 banger.
Now that I own a 335 whenever I drive my accord Ill floor it sometimes and laugh at how I thought it had any torque at all.

I didn't have my 335 2 weeks(after years of driving accords) before I got used to stock power and needed more. It is quite funny how quickly one can get used to the power and in turn want more.

This sort of stuff needed to come out 4 years ago! Shift bog was arguably the biggest downfall of this car for me.

Wedge can you fix the post shift torque reduction in a backend flash if you are stacking? Or can it be done through a full flash tune only?

I noticed that I no longer have post shift reduction on my AT when the Disable Tq Reduction by Ign was added to the XDF files.

I validated this on a MT car as well who had post shift reduction and the car was falling on it's face... By disabling the Tq options in the Toggles/Functions category, you can eliminate the post shift bog.

So, if you don't have a BT cable or an OFT, I recommend you go out and buy one or the other...
