My LCI e91 335i -with some performance goodies
Aprox 2 months ago I replaced my 335i coupe with an LCI 335i touring. Since then, I have spent time researching and installing the mods that you can see below. I have mainly gone down the route of BMW performance bits, as quality is excellent and some parts are actually quite good value for money imo. Anyway, I'll let the pictures tell the story:

Your car looks great, the LCI E90/E91 is really growing on me. That's Space Grey, right?
Any chance you can list the BWM Performance parts you've fitted (and prices), for the benefit of the rest of us who might be considering some extras? The wheels do look great - last time I loked they were pretty expensive, but I guess it's all relative to what you'd have to pay to get some really good after-market rims... So far I only bought the Performance auto shift knob - it's quite nice though.

Yes - it is space grey. The performance parts installed are:
- Wheels are style 313 19" rims - They cost just under £1400. I was looking to spend a minimum of £1100 on aftermarket CSL reps and ultimately (for LCI firment these needed to be imported from the USA), so I decided to go for these. - e90/91 Side skirts - £260 + £170 to spray. Installation is pretty easy and the quality is top notch. - Rear diffuser - £175, no need to spray if you like the all black look (which I do). Again quality is great, but it is fiddly to install as some of the msport rear bumper needs cutting off to fit. Well worth it though. This was actually cheaper than buying an aftermarket one from this forum. As a rule of thumb, I managed to get 10% discount on all parts. It nearly made me weep when I saw the sticky on the UK section about the 15% available, but you live and learn. I suppose that I made further savings by getting it from my local dealer and not incurring delivery costs. Compared to my old msport coupe - I would say that was (and still is) a really beautiful looking car. My e91 on the other hand is far more menacing to look at - with the performance bits, it looks just right. I am not going for the performance front bumper as this isn't nearly as nice to look at as the standard LCI msport front end imo. That is it. The carbon wrap cost £50 for the material + probably 10 hours of my time to wrap. Again, an excellent mod that makes the interior look far more aggressive. |

I got the material from a seller on ebay - it is 3M Di-Noc carbon vinyl. It already has adhesive on the back and needs to be heated with a hair dryer to get it to mold.
If you look in the DIY section, you will find several guides for removing the trims. You will need to experiment a bit with the material though to get a feel for working with the vinyl. |

The car looks great Ben, very smart indeed
The wheels look spot on, and will be far better quality than any CSL copy rims you would have bought otherwise. What is next on the list of mods or are you all done now? Would look nice with the BMW performance grilles (the ones with gloss black surrounds) IMO. cheers, Paul |

Thanks Paul!
I am done for the time being, well once the installation of my M3 ARBs and sub frame bushes is completed this week. I could go on and on - FMIC, brakes, performance front splitters and grilles etc etc. |
