Post Automatic Start/Stop iDrive Error Message

Hey folks,

(e90 320D 177 2008 Saloon)

I have this error message appear whenever I start my car or turn it off

"Automatic start/stop"

Automatic start/stop failure. Engine will not stop or start automatically. If necessary press the start/stop button to start the engine. Possible to continue journey. Have the problem checked by local BMW service.

The only thing I did was change my headlight bulbs! I am not sure if that is a coincidence, but ever since then that message appears.

I scanned for error code, the error was 416F Nullgangstellung, Ableigch.

Probably another coincidence, but the next morning, I started the car fine, but when I got back in it a few moments later, I had another error on the iDrive

"Remote Control"

Remote control not in ignition, It is possible that engine cannot be restarted, so do not switch off, have the problem checked bla bla bla.

I never saw that message again since, and the car started fine... All just seem a weird electrical issue since fitting the bulbs.

Could I have knocked a sensor or something? I thought the start/stop error was a neutral gear position sensor?

Thanks in advance!
