End of day, they are most likely farming it out to their local detailer. I'd pay few bucks more and go to one of the trusted local guys here...

In house detailers suck 95% of the time. The detailers they sub to suck 98% of the time.

This is when we realize that us enthusiasts are a tiny % of the customer base. Most people have no idea of what a proper detail is - they just want shiny. Dealers care about the masses.

When I told my SA the amount of time my detailer put into the exterior of my car alone, he simply couldn't grasp it. To them, a detail is an hour or two....inside/out. I've spent an entire week detailing a car for a major event.

A true detail will take an entire day unless you're content with a soccer mom shine.

^ All true. There is no paint correction or proper techniques. Just shine, shine, shine. I got an email from them too, went straight to my trash. Go to Phil @ Detailers Domain. Expensive, but quality.

Oakes Detail in West Chester, PA. He is the only detailer I use, and I send all VAC customers to him. The best, period. Very fair price for the high level of quality you get. http://oakesdetail.com/

Guys have to remember something though...most dealers are "detailing" 10-20 cars per day depending on their sales volume. They can't do or afford to pay staff to do color correction, they would get 1 car delivered per day

If you looking for "perfection" find someone whos sole living is based on detailing.

I detail cars with my friend...we only do exterior as of now and our prices are unheard of...just exterior alone takes around 6-7 hours

they use fillers to hide your swirls at the dealership within a week or two you start to see everything come back for a true paint correction go to a real detailer.
