Spoiler Install help?

Can anyone help me install my new spoiler?? I don't have clamps and stuff. It also helps to have another person around! Thanks!

hmm what part of NJ? i want to do this too. i have some plastic clamps and we can do it together. i have to wait to get my lip painted tho...

I'm in West New York at the moment, but I go back to my parents' place in Wayne pretty regularly. When do you think you'll have your spoiler painted? I have a carbon fiber one, so I can do this anytime.

im going to call the dealer body shop today. i will let you know. probably wont be til next week since i am going away wednesday-sunday down the shore.

I wasn't sure whether I should install with betalink or 3m tape. I guess I'll just get whichever is more convenient to get. Only dealerships sell betalink, but any local auto parts store should have 3m tape.

i have betalink i got it at the dealer which was kinda a rip off at 24 bucks. its $13 at online dealers but i guess once you factor in the price of shipping its not that bad.

Is there enough betalink to use on 2 spoilers? Maybe we can split the cost if it is.

Jamie, you could of told me. I picked up the Betalink from JMK for only $15 or less, I forgot the actual amount. Or you could of picked it up from Morristown BMW, they had it there too.

yea i couldve it dont really matter whatever. on a side note, i just called my local dealers body shop they want $400!!! to paint the lip. i promptly laughed and hung up. i will be calling JMK today and see how much they want. i know some people from there so we'll see whats up.

this saturday its going as i dont have a way down there and im leaving for the shore tomorrow. my nephew is dropping it off on saturday and probably picking it up that saturday of the meet so i probably wont get it installed...the grille ill just pop in...

Have your nephew pick it up on Friday, you wake up extra early on Saturday and install it. That way the betalink will have time to cure. lol!

Jamie, if you're not going to install for another 2 weeks, would you mind if I borrowed your clamps? I'd like to install it in time for the meet! I'll return the clamps to you on the day of the meet, if that's ok with you.
