Did you get the wheel hop sorted out?
I have mad wheel hop on my 335xi and don't want to get shit for making a new thread. After reading the thread I'm still wondering about a few things, does the lockdown kit work on XI cars? Should I change out worn struts and shocks first? Are (were) you all experiencing wheel hop on hard acceleration from as low as 2nd gear?

Not sure yet. I upgraded the toe arm bushings but haven't had the chance to drive it hard since. I honestly don't know what wheel hop would look like in an AWD. On my car it was a sideways hop of the rear wheels when launching from a stop at WOT for a 0-60 or 1/4 mile run. My 0-60 time has actually gone up since upgrading the turbo, and I think it is because of traction issues due to increased power. Might try some stickier or wider rear tires. Still might have to do the diff lock down, I dunno.

It's pretty violent, I used to think it was a transmission shudder.
I noticed mine more after I went with a nitrous setup and it has only gotten worse. Maybe a new set of struts and shocks will help in my case.
