GF's Family PISSING ME OFF!

Today is a nice day, it was cloudy earlier but the sun managed to came out right before our scheduled event.

It was also great last Tuesday in fact it was over 70 degrees out which is perfect weather for SKYDIVING. It was also pretty good the Friday before that Tuesday, but shit happens.

I've never skydived before, but when my girlfriend gets sick and we have to cancel it it bothers the shit out of me.

She was getting alittle better (she had extreme cough apparantly) and so we set it up for today (a week ago) at 4PM in Tacoma and man was it a perfect day to go.

And then... We canceled again. Thats right, we ####ing cancelled again. Why? Because now my GF is complaining she is dizzy. I told her to go to the ER and figure out what is wrong with her but she refuses thinking that it isn't serious enough (She complains that she can't drive because it is too dizzy for her).

So that brings me to the point of why I am so pissed off, her family.

Yup I am blaming her family. Why? BECAUSE THEIR KITCHEN IS THE MOST DIRTIEST SHIT KITCHEN I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! One step into their kitchen and you'd wonder why she hasn't caught 3 STDs and a syndrome! Their kitchen was previously cockroach infested to the point where I (Keyword I) had to call ORKIN myself to get them away months ago. I regret now because they think it is ok to leave food and shit out in the open with the cockroaches dissapearing.

Seriously, when they eat cereal they don't close the ####ing boxes or even wrap up the bag it is just sitting there open. When they eat packaged meat with the zipper top THEY LEAVE THE ZIPPER OPEN AFTER PUTTING IT BACK IN THE FRIDGE! GOD! Their floor is so dirty that I've had to throw away two pairs of socks already because shit from god knows where gets stuck on the sock and it is impossible to get off.

I AM SO SICK OF THIS SHIT! The problem is, I can't communicate with her family because they speak a different language then english. My GF doesn't want to translate because she said that she tried to talk to them before. We just got into an argument about this and it just pisses me even more because they routinely have FOUR to FIVE kids living there. Ages 1/3/4/6. She refuses to take part of helping her family live a healthier life, claiming that they were even worse when they were at their home country.

I care for my girl's health, and now it has crossed the line. I need to figure out a way to get their family to stop living like cave people and start ####ing living like normal humans.

Any suggestions?

Hmm...That's a tough one. It is hard to change people. If her parents were raised that way then that is all they probably know. If they are dirty people by nature then they may not change. Maybe if you could somehow make them see that she is sick because of the way they live, maybe that would prompt them to change.

Do you really think her health problems are due to her living situation? Have you tried to make her see that?

One of these days when your GF is sick, have the necessary tests done so that they can prove that bacteria is making her sick. How old is she? Can she move in with you?

What tests?

She honestly think that her kitchen is fine (when it was cockroach infested) and thinks she caught some normal sickness. I had to win a huge argument to call Orkin man over.

Actually I don't think it is an excuse.

Most of her family caught the same illness.

Her mom, sister-in-law, oldest brother, and brother all have it.

She's the one who suggested it in the first place.

Trust me she wants to go.

Dirrty hot girl?

Can we get some pics of the kitchen and the gf?

You seem to care a lot about her, why not help her clean the kitchen so you guys can 1) do something together and 2) go out more often?

This is exactly why I don't eat food from other people's homes. People look "put together" but you have no idea how they live.

It sounds like her family, and her, are filty slobs. She lives there too. She is partially responsible for not cleaning up.

I would suggest a house-cleaner. Or perhaps moving out on her own. Like it was stated before, you marry the girl, you marry her dirtiness. If you care for her, which it sounds like you do, prompt her to immediatly find a remedy. It has been shown that even the "cleanest" kitchens can cause illness. Imagine how compounded the problem is when the floor is as disgusting as you describe it.

How's the bathroom?

I'm a clean freak...
if ur not in love, find someone else...
she will do the same to your kitchen/house...

if you are in love, I'm sure there are like AA meetings but for ppl who are dirty...
Unclean Anonymous or something...

a "character flaw" like that can cause A LOT of problems in the future
you should sort it out before continuing

also.. the maid thing, despite a great idea, doesnt solve the problem.. unless ur gonna hire her everyday

Save yourself the trouble. Get another GF. Like someone else already said. If you get married to her your kitchen will look the same way. TRUST ME. My wife's cousins are nasty as hell. I didn't think girls could be so gross. An sure enough when they've got BF's, their behavior doesn't change.

I agree with Tommy, it's not just her family. She lives there too, she's obvious OK with the filth, otherwise she would clean it up. Give me a break on she not wanting to translate to upset her family, it's not like she insists on living in a clean house while her family is FORCING her to live in filth.
